Who Are We?

The Mile High Nurses Honor Guard was established to recognize and celebrate the women and men who have dedicated all or a portion of their lives to nursing. Upon their death, it is important to shine a light on their contributions to the nursing profession and humanity, to help ease the grief of the mourners. We consider it an honor and a privilege to participate in the final tribute of our fellow nurses.

Who We Serve

Our volunteers would be honored to provide our service for anyone who at some point in their life was a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) whose funeral or memorial service is within the Denver Metro area.

The Honor Guard is entirely composed of volunteer nurses giving back their profession during this final salute.

There is no cost to the family. Donations are welcome.

Who Can Join?

Anyone who has been a nurse (RN, APN, LPN) at some point in their life can join the nurses honor guard. We do accept non-nurse supporters and volunteers who can participate in administrative duties and fundraising events. However, to participate in the funeral services, Nurse Honor Guards must have been a nurse at some point in their life.

If interested in joining Mile High Nurses Honor Guard, please contact us for more information.
